> Online-mainonnan aineisto-ohjeet suomeksi
The online advertising material is delivered as a presentation-ready zipped attachment, along with the necessary accompanying information, to the email address mainos@bauermedia.fi no later than three (3) business days before the start of the campaign. Special implementations require five (5) business days.
Acceptable advertisement formats are JPG, GIF and PNG or HTML5 implementation. Flash support for browsers has declined significantly in the autumn of 2015, and it is no longer supported. We recommend implementing animations/functions in HTML5 format. Only images (JPG, GIF and PNG) can be displayed on the label corner, interstitial and landing page. More detailed instructions about the HTML5 material can be found later in this text.
Additionally, you’ll always need an URL to link your ad to.
Advertising can also be delivered via the tags of an external advertising management system, in which case the customer delivers the necessary tags to us. Tags must work with the Google AdManager (formerly DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP)) advertising management system.
The ad link always opens in a separate (_blank) browser window. This must be taken into account in the case of HTML5 materials, as well as in the case of advertising delivered through an external advertising management system.

Bauer Media uses the Google AdManager ad server to distribute advertising. The pixel size of the material is determined in the head section of the HTML file using the meta-tag shown in the example. In the HTML code metadata of the implementation, the character set shall be defined as ’UTF-8 ’. Links are implemented using clickTag parameters as described in the example; the desired link is defined in the head section as a clickTag variable using Javascript. If you want more than one link for one implementation, you can use variables clickTag2, clickTag3, etc.
If the Google Web Designer software is used to execute HTML5 implementations, the environment must be set to ‘DoubleClick’. Executions created with GWD use the exit event functionality instead of defining clickTag variables. For more detailed instructions, see here.
It is not possible to display the HTML5 implementation in the label corner, interstitial or landing page (these ad formats accept jpg, png and gif formats).

AUDIO (IN DESKTOP BANNERS)
Any sound may not be triggered without the action of the user. Audio may start with a delay of half a second when the user hovers over the ad, and it must end automatically when the cursor leaves the ad. Another option is a button that one can click to turn sound on and off. Audio must be off by default.
AUDIO (IN DESKTOP BANNERS)
We accept HTML5 video ads where a video clip is shown inside the ad. The video clip, which may be max. one megabyte in size (usually in mp4 format), must be separate from the actual display implementation and must essentially be located on the client’s server. The video must load progressively. The embedded video file may not start loading from the server until the user clicks it, and the user must also be able to stop the video.
